How to Play:

  • F11 or Alt+Enter to toggle Fullscreen
  • Player1: WASD to move, space to shoot
  • Player2: Arrows to move, enter to shoot
  • Up accelerates you, 
  • Down slows you down 
  • You turn faster while not accelerating
  • Bouncing off walls deals no damage

The opening room allows you to select a ship by flying to one on the left, test your ship by flying to the free-fire area. When you are done testing your ship, fly to a color to choose a team (some versions allow 4 players on a single keyboard). Game will start 60 seconds after 2 players join, so make it quick!

Works best on Chrome.

This game in its current state was developed in 1 week as part of DSOP's July Game Jam.

This game was built for an arcade cabinet that has 4 sticks and 3 buttons per stick. My intention was to make a competitive game that plays a bit like Atari's Asteroids but with a level a bit closer to Atari's Tank.

I used @Kenney assets for most of the game. A @SocietyOfPlay member donated some sounds. The metal backgrounds came from FreePBR.com.  The Hazard strips came from here.

I feel like I learned a lot about myself on this project. I proved to myself that I can get a project done if I set my goals correctly and a really push into it. However, I believe this game was designed with some unrealistic constraints (arcade cabinet, game jam time limit, day job) and does not make sense for a long term project. I think I can a better game for a more traditional platform.
